- You can submit articles to the Money Hacks Carnival here. Deadline is 9 pm the Tuesday night before the carnival posts.
- If you would like to host this carnival, go here.
Now, on with the carnival!
Duct tape can fix almost anything. But one thing it can’t fix is my bank account. That’s why I’ve read through these great posts, and you should, too!
Duct Tape was originally called Duck Tape - because of the way it repels water “like water rolling off a duck’s back.” It was developed by Johnson and Johnson during WW II to protect ammunition from water. Soldiers were soon using it to repair a variety of things such as jeeps, tents, and clothing.

After the war and during the housing boom, duck tape started to be called duct tape, because it was often used to seal air ducts. It’s color was changed from army green to the silver we know today. It has since been “outlawed” in the duct world, replaced with more dependable aluminum tapes.
And now, the rest of this week’s 90 plus great submissions.
