My Blog Post Picks of the Week

Great reading this week.
The Money Hacks Carnival #51, hosted at Your Money Relationship, brings us through the TV hit, “The Office.” I’ve never watched it (yes, I know, I live in a cave), but I might just take a peek at it now. Nice host blog, too. Here’s some of my favorite articles from the carnival:
- The Dividend Tree gives us a nice life metaphor with Everyday Life Teaches us Dividend Investing.
- Read about a family’s dilemma in The Sinking Ship at Living Almost Large. What would you do? I think it would be tough to ditch the car unless they live in the city. But if they do, it’s a pretty smart way to improve their lifestyle.
- I’m always look ing for free stock analysis tools, and The Sun’s Financial Diary describes a few that look worth checking out in his post, A Free Stock Analysis Tool.
- Check out links to the other 50 Money Hacks Carnivals and enter your post - or sign up to host!
The Make Money Blogging Carnival is another carnival I participated in this week. It’s hosted by SuccessPart2 (Help For New Bloggers Getting Started). Some of the great posts include:
- The Smarter Wallet’s Compare Credit Card Offers: Find The Best Credit Cards For You. I’m in the market for a new Credit Card, and this gave me some great pointers on finding one. My old Countrwide Card - that gave me 2% cash back towards my CW mortgage - is being converted to a Chase Freedom card - which only offers 1%.
- There’s also Isaac Yassar’s post, Why Commenting is Good for Bloggers. It’s sometimes hard to find the time to make as many comments as I’d like. Isaac gave me a nice reminder of how valuable they are.
- Money Free World was a nice dream to read about on we overstep.

By the way, I have to admit that the idea to share our great reads in our post is indeed very interesting. I have to try this for myself someday.
