Carnival of Pecuniary delights

Blog-O-Rama: Finance and Frugality Blogs

Some great posts to check out at the carnivals this week- here’s a few of my favs.

The Mighty Bargain Hunter hosts The Carnival of Personal Finance this week, and gives us a little Cyber Monday history lesson.

Here were my favorite posts:

Blueprint for Financial Prosperity has a list of 0% balance transfer offers.  (Fifty different offers.  You should be able to do a 0% transfer of the national debt with this volume of plastic.) Because no one should be paying credit card interest.  Likewise, Saving To Invest has some end-of-year tax tips that should help with tax overload.

The Financial Blogger wonders if the Dogs of the Dow have had their day, and the Dividend Growth Investor discusses why companies should pay dividends.

And, on the lighter side, Happiness is Better lists three keys to banana-free living.  (Sounds a-peeling.)

Next, you can make your way to the Festival of Frugality at Living Almost Large.

Are frugalites in?  Check out the latest new consumer trend with Frugality Goes Mainstream posted at Value For Your Life. Other posts on hip-frugal are LAL’s article, “Is poor the new affluence?” and my own article, No-Frills Chic.

I’m a fan of good cookware.  Quality Cookware can Save You Time and Energy posts at The Smarter Wallet.  A nice article about ways to justify buying something you love.

That tax clock is ticking.  3 Tax Tips you can still do before ‘08 ends! (they’re very sexy) at Budgets are Sexy offers some good ideas.

Just a cuation on these balance transfers. When the time expires on the offer, ensure you have the money to pay it off, or have another card you can transfer to.
