Lots of good posts this week.  Here’s a few of my favorites, from a few of my favorite blogs.

I.  With the presidential debate and the $700 billion dollar bailout looming, my mind’s been on politics, and so has the minds of many other personal finance bloggers.

Leigh, at Thoughtprints, gives it to McCain in Like We Wouldn’t See Right Through That.

Joseph’s blog on  5 Reasons We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Bailout . is a great rant worth reading.  So is his blog site, Debit versus Credit.

Pinyo, at Moolanomy, hits the nail on the head, as usual - is that just because I usually agree with him!? - , with his blog Financial Crisis and the Hypocrisy of the Economic Bailout.  Here’s an excerpt:

Sam, at Fix My Personal Finance, describes in thought provoking detail why Sometimes Capitalism S#!%ks…Big Time.  Another blog I agree with a lot.

Pickens Plan, by Rick Vaughn, at Truth or Credit, nicely highlights the metaporphosed oil magnate, T. Boone Pickens, from Texas oil billionare, to wind energy supporting billionaire.

II.  Some personal finance blogs stuck with the topic of personal finance.

Until Debt Do Us Part describes Why the Simplest Ideas are Usually the Best.  Reminds me of KISS:  Keep it simple stupid!

I could relate to Trent’s blog at The Simple Dollar on Personal Energy and Frugality, because I also have hypothyroidism and take Synthroid - actually the generic less expensive version of it.  I find exercise is my best energy stimulator.  Trent has a lot of other good ideas, too.

Finally, Mike from Living the Cheap Life is back from his hiatus.  Welcome back, Mike!

We’ll see what the blogs bring us next week.  Until then- Lisa
