21 More Great Free Websites That Will Save You Time and Money

When sleep eludes me, I inevitably end up wrapped in a blanket, on the computer, rambling about the Internet with Google. Thus, my “favorite bookmarks” tab is overflowing with random, haphazardly filed, great links, discovered in the middle of the night, while half asleep, with no particular agenda.

Periodically, I attempt to weed through and organize them. I thought you might enjoy the fruits of my insomnia.

Free-

Music at Soundpedia.

Movies at Top Ten Popular Video Sites. Not all are free, but most are.

Stuff of all types: TheFreeSite. This was on my Seventeen Best Links to Really Free Stuff post, but it bears repeating.

A list of links for free down-loadable eBooks at About.com-free e-books.

Widgets. If you need a break from Google Gadgets, Yahoo has free Yahoo Widgets. Forever Geek compares the two in his post Yahoo Widgets vs Google Gadgets. It’s a 2006 post, but still relevant and worth reading.
