Lisa, thanks for highlighting my article; I’m glad you appreciated it. I really like the featured articles section on your main page. Did you code that yourself?

@Aaron- glad you like the site. I got this wordpress theme through a company called Solostream. There’s a link in my sideblog. If you purchase a theme through this link, I’ll get 20% of the sale. You can put this promotional widget on your site as well, through his website (just click on “Earn Money” in the top left of his site.)
I can’t say enough about the customer support from Solostream. They’re exceptional, and the theme is really easy to work with.
If you have any more questions about it let me know.
Lisa
Thanks for the link back. The time/money issue is a big one that I think many are looking at more closely these days.

Ah, that explains the attractive features menu. I prefer to code my websites from scratch (at least the XHTML & CSS parts), so I guess I’ll keep my eyes open for any nifty menus that are freely available.
I must stay though, that I am excited at the possibilities blogging and the internet is creating. Who would have thought twenty years ago that soon practically anyone could start writing their own column or create a publication that would be widely available!
